The technical help you can expect from Active Computers depends upon the product you have purchased. If you have purchased components from our shop, then you should refer to the manufacturer’s own help and support services before contacting us. Computer systems built by us are fully supported by Active Computers and we offer full technical support on a normal charge rate number (01939 550040) from Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
returns and refunds
If you wish to return any goods you have purchased from us, in order to give you a full refund we require all of the original packaging and contents undamaged. Without these an additional charge may apply. If the reason for return is not fault related, then you may be charged a restocking fee. Software, Printer Ink or Printer toners may only be returned and refunded if it is unopened and unused. A full copy of our sales and return policies can be viewed by clicking here. BEFORE RETURNING ANY GOODS YOU MUST FILL OUT A RETURNS FORM. Please contact us for a copy if required.
All components are covered by a full manufacturer’s warranty for a minimum of one year. Many manufacturers will offer a longer warranty at their discretion. Active Computers PC’s have warranties specified on their details and quotations. On-site warranties are only valid for UK mainland.
If you wish to make a complaint, please first send all the relevant details to us in an email cs [@] activecomp.co.uk or by letter. You must ensure that you quote any order or reference numbers given to you along with your name and details how we can contact you. Any complaints will be dealt with swiftly and efficiently.
We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and will work to resolve your dispute swiftly. We will keep you fully informed at all stages. Active Computers will deal with any complaints fairly, confidentially, and effectively. We strive to enhance our performance as the result of any problems our customer’s encounter, to ensure they do not occur again.
